The problem

AI agents are getting remarkably good at reasoning, planning, and taking action. But their outputs are almost always text. Ask an agent to "generate an invoice" and you get Markdown. Ask it to "produce a report" and you get a wall of formatted text that the user still has to copy into a Word document.

The gap between what agents can do and what users actually need — a real file they can download, share, or print — is still wide. Every developer solving this problem ends up standing up their own headless-Chrome infrastructure, maintaining it, and paying for it whether they use it or not.

The solution

AgentGen is a simple REST API: you send HTML, we return a CDN link to a PDF or image rendered by headless Chrome. That's it.

No SDK to install. No monthly subscription. No infrastructure to run. Register the API call as a tool in your LangChain agent, OpenAI function, AutoGen setup, or any HTTP-capable system — and your agent can produce a downloadable PDF invoice, a styled report, a certificate, or an OG image in the same conversation turn.

Pricing is token-based: buy once, use whenever, tokens never expire. It's designed to fit the burst patterns of agent workloads — sometimes you need 50 PDFs in a minute, sometimes nothing for a week.

Mission

Make it trivially easy for any AI agent — regardless of the framework it runs in — to produce a real, downloadable file. Not a Markdown string. A PDF. An image. A link the user can click.

The secondary mission is to price it fairly for developers: no monthly minimum, no credit card on the free tier, tokens that never expire. The tool should cost close to nothing when you're building and prototyping, and scale cheaply when you're in production.
